Martin Gedalin founded Lumia Capital to partner with leading tech companies in under-invested emerging markets and forward-thinking US companies targeting these markets to accelerate growth. At Lumia, Martin serves on the board of Anomali, HIRED, EatStreet, and LeadGenius. Martin is also responsible for overseeing Lumia’s investments in Xtime (acquired by Cox Automotive), OpenDNS (acquired by Cisco), Procore, Pagerduty, Greenhouse Software and Kabbage. Martin launched Lumia after four years at Focus Ventures, an IT venture capital firm in Palo Alto with $850M under management and 110 investments across three funds. At Focus, Martin helped lead the firm’s Internet and software efforts. Prior to Focus, Martin was a Product Manager at Oracle, where he was responsible for managing core components of Fusion CRM, a $1B+ product line. Previously, Martin was a management consultant at both Oracle and Siebel Systems, providing strategic recommendations across people, process, and technology domains to Oracle and Siebel’s top global customers. Martin began his career in Corporate Strategy at NCR Corporation after co-founding one of the earliest mobile advertising companies in 2000. Martin holds a BBA from Emory University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
