Joe Sykora is a Global Sales and Channel Leader with over 20 years of experience in driving hyper sales performance. A seasoned tech founder and CEO, he has a track record of guiding multiple startups through successful merger and acquisition processes. His proficiency extends to negotiating intricate partnerships, skillfully navigating times of change, and crafting transformative Go-To-Market strategies that empower technology firms to compete on the global stage.

Joe currently holds the position of SVP Global Channels at Proofpoint, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions that safeguard an organization's most valuable assets and mitigate its greatest risks—its people. Prior to this, Joe served as VP Global Sales and Channels at Bitdefender, a renowned provider of data center, cloud, and endpoint security solutions. From 2010 to 2017, he held the role of VP of Americas Channels and Enhanced Technologies at Fortinet. Previously, he was President/CEO of Fortress Network Security, a company he founded in 2001.

Joe has served on numerous advisory boards including the FBI Citizen Academy Alumni Association Board of Directors, Everything Channel/CRN, CompTIA, and Anomali. He has also received numerous industry and personal awards including Business First Fast 50, CRN Top 100 People to Know in the Channel, and CRN Channel Chief Top 50.
